Trade Journals

Who is the target audience of trade journals?

The target audience of personal trade journals is active traders who want to track their trades, measure performance, and improve their decision-making. This includes day traders, swing traders, futures traders, forex traders, crypto traders, and prop-firm traders.

A trading journal is particularly useful for traders who make enough trades to spot patterns in their results. Instead of judging performance from a few recent wins or losses, they can review a larger history of trades and see which strategies, setups, and market conditions produce better results.

The target audience of an industry trade journal is different. Those publications are aimed at professionals working in a specific industry and usually cover industry news, trends, products, companies, and expert opinions.
